Step by Step guide to use WhatsApp on Android

WhatsApp on Android
Anybody can use WhatsApp on Android, but not everyone knows how to use it to its full potential. This guide will tell you everything you need to know about using WhatsApp on your Android phone. Whether you are just getting started or are looking to improve your skills, you’ll find the information in this article invaluable. If you have any questions that aren’t answered here, just ask in the comments below! Happy messaging!

1) Launch WhatsApp

This process will take some time, but once you’ve downloaded it, you can begin using it. First, open WhatsApp and press Menu in your top-right corner. Then tap Settings > Accounts & Privacy > Register Phone Number. Select which number of yours to register with WhatsApp (for example, if you have a second SIM card that is only used for data—as opposed to calls and texts—you might want to use that one). Enter your phone number and choose whether or not you want an additional backup email address created for you. Remember: If your phone dies or is lost forever, your backup email address is how you can gain access to your account again.

2) Enter your mobile number

Enter your phone number to begin. You’ll receive a text message with a link to download WhatsApp. Once installed, tap Continue. Create an account: Enter your first name, last name, and username. Make sure you enter your mobile number as your username so friends can reach you! To create a strong password that’s easy for you to remember but hard for others to guess, use at least six characters (mix in upper- and lowercase letters) and include one or more of these character types. Create profile photo: Choose an image for your profile photo (we recommend keeping it simple). Agree to terms & conditions: Check off each box as you agree.

3) Verify your number

Once you've downloaded WhatsApp, you'll need to create an account or verify your phone number. To create an account using your phone number, open WhatsApp and tap Menu. Then, tap Settings and select Accounts. Select Phone Number and then type in your mobile number. Once you've done that, you'll receive a four-digit PIN at that number; the type that into Whatsapp and press submit. The app will ask for permission to access your contacts so it can find all of your friends who are also using WhatsApp.

4) Add contacts

Once you've downloaded WhatsApp for Android, you'll need to add some contacts. To do so, open a chatbox and tap add a contact. If you don't have any contacts set up yet, tap New Contact and follow the prompts. Once you have a few friends added, start chatting!

5) Send Messages

Before you can send a message, you'll have to add a few contacts. Open up WhatsApp and tap New Chat. You'll then see a list of all your contacts that have a phone number in their contact information. Tap on a contact and begin typing in what you want to say in your first message.

It is simple and easy. After following these steps, you can successfully use Whatsapp on your android phone or tablet. I hope that my tutorial really helped you out here, and if it did then please share it with all of your friends so they can also get access to what might just be one of their favorite instant messaging apps ever!
